Ricciardo gutted with puncture: 'Shame it ended like that'
Renault star Daniel Ricciardo was left very disappointed with the ending of his Singapore Grand Prix, as the Aussie was on the charge for most of the race until suffering a puncture that forced him to make a second pitstop. After being excluded from qualifying for running an illegal MGU-K, Ricciardo had his work cut out for him as he started from the back. The seven-time Grand Prix winner showed why he's considered one of the best overtakers in the business, however, as he started picking off drivers left and right on the narrow street circuit in Marina Bay. He climbed his way into the points and kept going, until his move for P7 on Antonio Giovinazzi ended up with contact and a puncture...
