Albon admits to nerves: '10/10 for excitement!'
Belgian Grand Prix – Recently promoted Red Bull Racing driver Alex Albon says he's nervous about making his debut with the senior team, but is also very excited. The young British/Thai driver only made his debut in Formula 1 12 races ago at the season opener in Australia, but steps up to the senior Red Bull Racing team in place of Pierre Gasly in light of their respective performances. Facing the press for the first time since his promotion to the Red Bull team, Albon explained how the switch came about for him: 'I went into the summer break expecting a relaxing time of it.
