2020 Australian Grand Prix set for March 15

Though the full calendar has yet to be revealed, FOM has confirmed that the 2020 F1 season will kick-off in Australia on March 15. 2020 is a year of anniversaries for the sport as it marks the 70th season and also the 25th year of the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne, which has hosted the event at the Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit since 1996. As was the case this year, next year's Australian Grand Prix will run on the weekend following the Labour Day weekend in Victoria, which is also the weekend before the start of the Australian Football League season.
