Kubica: Monaco silenced doubters over F1 comeback
Robert Kubica believes that he has silenced his doubters that he was not capable of an F1 return after completing the Monaco Grand Prix without any problems with his right arm. The Pole was involved in a heavy rally crash back in 2011 in which his car was pierced by a metal barrier, partially severing his right arm in the process. Leading up to his return to Formula 1 with Williams, many had doubts over Kubica's ability to drive an F1 car due to his injuries, particularly around the tight hotel hairpin at Monaco.
