Toto Wolff: "Great that we could control the race like this"

Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff is delighted after his third 1-2 of this season. Lewis Hamilton won the 1000th race in the history of Formula 1 and according to Wolff, Mercedes had not predicted such a big pace margin over Ferrari on Friday.  "It's great to start the 1000th race on pole and being able to control the race like that is great," said Wolff in front of the Sky Sports camera. “The double pit stop made me very proud. You have everything to lose at that moment, but it went very well so I'm happy." “I am surprised after Friday we did not expect that we could check the race this way. I am very proud and happy. More good...
