Sauber to conduct shakedown of 2019 car at Fiorano
Reports from Italy suggest that Sauber could be the first team to puts its 2019 car on track, with a shakedown run of its C38 tentatively scheduled for February 14. The short test, which would likely qualify as a 'filming day' and mileage limited to 100 km, would take place at Ferrari's Fiorano facility according to Motorsport.com Italy. Raikkonen looking forward to 'pure racing' at Sauber Ferrari, which is scheduled to unveil its 2019 car on February 15, will take a keen interest in the shakedown as Sauber's charger will share the same engine and rear end components as the Scuderia.
