Latifi joins Williams F1 as reserve driver for 2019

Williams has confirmed Formula 2 racer Nicholas Latifi will join its Formula 1 operation ahead of the 2019 season, taking up the role of reserve driver. Latifi, 23, has previously worked with both Renault and, most recently, Force India in F1 as a test and development driver, making five FP1 appearances through the course of the 2018 season. 5774263478001 CrashTV:  The Canadian will continue to balance his racing commitments with an F1 programme in 2019 after being named as Williams' new reserve driver for the 2019 season.
