BBC to show Formula E 2018/19 season live

The 2018/19 Formula E season will be broadcast live on the BBC, giving the series a new television home for UK viewers. Races will be shown on the BBC Sport website, iPlayer and the Red Button service, plus one race being shown on one of the BBC’s television networks of either BBC One or BBC Two. Having been previously broadcast on Channel 5, this will be the BBC’s return to motorsport coverage since it discontinued with Formula 1 coverage at the end of 2015. “The ABB FIA Formula E Championship will continue to be broadcast to the masses and across a variety of platforms in the UK,” said Ali Russell, Media & Business Development Director at Formula E. “It’s imperative that...
