Alonso hoping for battles in penultimate Grand Prix
Just the two races left now for Fernando Alonso in his Formula One career, and the Spaniard is hoping he can be involved in some good on track battles at Interlagos this weekend. Alonso has only scored one top ten finish in the last seven races, with four DNFs coming in that time and he will be desperate to be involved in some good racing in his last visit to Brazil. McLaren have not been regular points scorers since the start of the season, when Alonso scored in the first five races, sparking hopes of a potential challenge for maybe podiums, but it wasn’t to be, and the McLaren team has underperformed since then.
