Gallery: When Carlos Sainz Sr tested a Renault F1 car
Two-time WRC champion and Dakar winner Carlos Sainz Sr tested a Renault Formula 1 car at the end of 2006 season. The Spaniard drove Fernando Alonso's championship-winning R25 at Barcelona's Circuit de Catalunya. With his son Carlos Sainz Jr joining Renault next season, we look back at the legendary rally driver's maiden test with the French manufacturer.
