Key extends stay with Toro Rosso
Toro Rosso technical director James Key has agreed a new contract to extend his stay with the Red Bull junior team. Key joined Toro Rosso from Sauber in 2012 and has played a integral role in the concept, design and manufacture process of every Toro Rosso car since. Upon the announcement, team principal Franz Tost was delighted that Key would be remaining with the team. “Formula 1 is a team sport, but one in which an individual can still make a difference,' said Tost. “So far, in his time with us, James has proved that he can indeed make that difference, leading the technical side of the operation. “Not only has he been adept at producing chassis-aero packages that are...
