Latifi: F2 results will determine F1 chances

– Renault-affiliated Formula 2 driver Nicholas Latifi says his results across the remainder of the campaign will determine whether he has a chance to step up to a Formula 1 race seat in 2018.Latifi, who has conducted private running in old Mercedes and Renault machinery, sampled the French manufacturer's 2017 package during in-season testing at the Hungaroring.Several candidates are understood to be on Renault's list for 2018, including Robert Kubica and Toro Rosso's Carlos Sainz Jr., while Latifi's DAMS F2 team-mate Oliver Rowland feels he is second favourite.Latifi holds fourth position in the F2 standings in his second full-year in the category, two places and 43 points behind...
