Vettel quickest as Hamilton suffers brake scare
Ahead of today's opening session, the air temperature is 22 degrees C, while the track temperature is 29 degrees. It is bright but with a fair amount of cloud and a 20% chance of rain. Having dominated both of yesterday's sessions, Lewis Hamilton was dealt a cruel blow last night when Mercedes opted to change the gearbox on his car having discovered an issue following the Baku race.
