Magnussen criticises 'unfair' VSC penalty
– Haas driver Kevin Magnussen believes stewards were "very unfair" in handing him a time penalty for passing McLaren rival Stoffel Vandoorne under the Virtual Safety Car.Magnussen trailed Vandoorne when the VSC was implemented after Max Verstappen's Red Bull came to a halt between Turns 2 and 3.The drivers were given the signal that the VSC period would be ending, and Magnussen made a move on Vandoorne along the pit straight, albeit marginally before green flag conditions resumed.Magnussen ceded the place, before re-passing the McLaren driver, but stewards handed the Dane a five-second time penalty, which he served at his sole pit-stop.Magnussen dropped outside of the top...
