From very bad to even worse for Alonso
Things went from bad to worse for Fernando Alonso 12 minutes into free practice for his home Spanish Grand Prix, as yet another Honda power unit went up in smoke to cut short his session and continue misery for the Spaniard and his McLaren team. Fresh from not even starting the Russian Grand Prix, when his engine expired on the formation lap, Alonso was upbeat on Thursday and was hoping that there would be an improvement in fortunes for the Woking outfit and indeed himself.
