Brown: Indy 500 deal shows commitment

– McLaren Executive Director Zak Brown believes that the squad's IndyCar effort with Fernando Alonso and Honda demonstrates that the parties are "one group", amid a troubled start to 2017.McLaren-Honda has yet to score a point in Formula 1 this year, ostensibly due to a lack of reliability and performance with its MCL32.The outfit's difficult start to the campaign contributed to McLaren's decision to return to IndyCar, running a one-car team in affiliation with Andretti for Alonso, supplied by Honda engines.Alonso completed his first laps in the No. 29 McLaren-Andretti last week and Brown reckons the programme demonstrates that each party is committed to the other, in spite...
