GPUpdate.net looks back on the three previous races at the track with a selection of photos.2014 Russian Grand Prix: October 10-12 In 2014, Sochi followed the Japanese Grand Prix, where Jules Bianchi suffered ultimately fatal injuries in a heavy crash. There was just one week between both races and Marussia decided to field one car, out of respect. Bianchi's pit box, which had already been fully prepared, remained shut throughout the weekend.
