Pirelli expecting one-stop Russian GP

– Formula 1 tyre supplier Pirelli is expecting this weekend's Russian Grand Prix to be a one-stop race, given the "low-severity" nature of the Sochi Autodrom.Pirelli will take its Ultra Soft, Super Soft and Soft compounds to the 5.848 km (3.634 mi) track, which is situated in and around the coastal-based Olympic Park.Pirelli chief Mario Isola said: "The race follows a two-day test in Bahrain, so it will be interesting to see how the lessons learned there translate into on-track performance and tyre management in Russia."On the face of it, with Sochi being a low-severity circuit and more durable tyres this year, it should be a relatively straightforward one-stop...
