Monaco car crash delayed Hamilton's travel plans

©Instagram Lewis Hamilton pulled out of a scheduled sponsor event in Sao Paulo yesterday, which fueled rumors that the 2015 World Champion was unwell and could miss the Brazilian Grand Prix. Mercedes were quick to deny the gossip, insisting that the British driver had simply been forced to reschedule his travel plans following his doctor's orders. It has now come to light that Hamilton was involved in a car crash in Monaco on Monday, and while there were no injuries for anyone involved, he was prescribed an extra day's rest before flying to Brazil.
