Palmer has faith Lotus-Renault situation will be resolved

Jolyon Palmer says he has 'faith' that ongoing discussions between Lotus and Renault will be resolved soon following the confirmation he will race for the Enstone-based team in 2016. The 2014 GP2 Series driver joined Lotus as a reserve driver for 2015 but will progress to a race drive next season alongside Pastor Maldonado and in place of Haas-bound Romain Grosjean. The announcement comes despite continued uncertainty over Lotus' ultimate future, with talks between itself and Renault continuing to drag on over a potential buy-out.
