No new McLaren deal for Magnussen

Kevin Magnussen will reportedly not be handed a new McLaren contract at the end of this season, paving the way for him to join a rival outfit. Racing for McLaren in 2014, Magnussen endured a difficult debut season and was dropped to a test driver role for this year to pave the way for Fernando Alonso. The Dane, though, have often spoken of his desire to return to racing but that won't be with McLaren. With the Woking team retaining both Jenson Button and Alonso for 2016 and Stoffel Vandoorne expected to take on the test driver role, Magnussen has become surplus to McLaren's requirements. As such, Autosport is reporting that the 23-year-old will not be given a new contract when his expires...
