Villeneuve doubts ‘cranky’ Grosjean right to lead Haas in 2016
Jacques Villeneuve has doubts that Romain Grosjean is the right man to lead the new-for-2016 Haas F1 Team in its debut season. Villeneuve himself famously joined a new team in 1999, when he left the Williams team to join British American Racing, but was unable to add to his eleven race victories in his five years with the team. Grosjean will join the American team at the conclusion of 2015 after spending his entire Formula 1 career so far at Enstone, racing for first Renault and then the Lotus F1 Team but 1997 World Champion Villeneuve fears the Frenchman may be too ‘cranky’ to lead the team.
