Manor relieved with two-car finish

Japanese Grand Prix – Manor team principal John Booth described the team's near-collision as a ‘heart-stopping' moment as Stevens and Rossi narrowly avoided contact mid-way through the race. The Manor team came close to seeing both cars retire at the same time when Will Stevens temporarily lost control of his car at the 130R corner. He was able to regain control of his sideways car with team-mate Alexander Rossi doing enough to avoid a collision as he drove past to take the position. Stevens and Rossi were battling for most of the race in their respective intra-team battle, with Rossi emerging victorious after Steven's half-spin.
