Rossi defies radio silence to defeat Stevens on debut
Alexander Rossi got his much discussed Formula 1 career underway in fine fettle by comfortably out-performing Manor team-mate Will Stevens, despite a loss of radio communication. The first American to start an F1 race since Scott Speed in 2007, Rossi began from the back after being out-qualified by Stevens, but proved more of a match in the race.
