FIA reacts to Pirelli's investigation findings

FIA 'satisfied' with Pirelli's investigation into Spa incidents and will 'consider' tyre manufacturer's recommendations. As official statement issued moments after Pirelli issued the results of its investigation, the FIA said: 'Pirelli has carried out an extensive investigation following the tyre incidents during the Belgian GP. Its main conclusions, as presented to the FIA, were: Tyres used by different teams during the race were examined by cutting sections through the tyre, none showed any signs of internal delamination (hence fatigue).
