Justin Wilson dies from serious head injuries
Former F1 driver Justin Wilson has died following his serious accident in the Indycar series on Sunday. He was 37 years old. Wilson was involved in a crash with Sage Karam during the race at Pocono Raceway in Pennysylvania. Striking debris from Karam's car, Wilson was knocked unconscious and was quickly airlifted to hospital. A short statement was released by the family on Monday night: “With deep sadness, the parents of Justin Wilson, Keith and Lynne, his wife Julia, and his brother Stefan share the news that Justin passed away today after succumbing to injuries suffered during the Verizon IndyCar event at Pocono Raceway on Sunday, August 23. “Justin was a loving father and devoted...
