Verstappen hit with 10 place grid penalty

Belgian Grand Prix – Max Verstappen has been given a ten place grid penalty and will start the Spa race from the back. The Toro Rosso driver was hit with the penalty prior to the qualifying session. Taking on a 6th Internal Combustion Engine, his 6th of the season, Verstappen triggered an automatic ten place grid drop. This affected his and the team's approach to the Saturday session, with the team opting to keep the Dutch driver in the garage during Q2. This was also due to a minor power problem that struck his Toro Rosso towards the end of the Q1 session, as the Dutch driver explained after the session: 'It wasn't the best of starts to my qualifying session, as I had a power issue...
