Ericsson: Sauber's 2016 plans convinced me to sign

Marcus Ericsson says Sauber is showing strong intent with some bold plans for 2016 which convinced him to sign a new deal with the team last month. The Swedish driver and his Sauber team-mate Felipe Nasr penned contract extensions for next season prior to the Hungarian Grand Prix and Ericsson feels the team has huge potential over the coming 18 months. “Straight after Silverstone we sat down to come up with a plan for the rest of the year and briefly about next year's car,” Ericsson said. “We've put quite a bit of trust in the developments coming now and at the end of year and hopefully that can put us in the right direction for next year. “It feels like there is a lot going on for...
