Hamilton not against closed cockpit prospect
Lewis Hamilton says he wouldn't be against changes to Formula 1 in the interest of safety as the question of closed cockpit F1 cars is raised again in the wake of Jules Bianchi's death. The 25 year-old passed away on 17th July 2015 as a result of injuries sustained in an accident during the 2014 Japanese Grand Prix having been in a coma for nine months. As one of the many F1 drivers to attend Jules' funeral earlier this week, Mercedes driver Hamilton laments that he wasn't close to him personally, but his loss has been felt deeply in the paddock ahead of the Hungarian Grand Prix. “It is something you don't want to see in sport,” he said. “It is difficult to grasp the sheer magnitude...
