Hamilton beats Rosberg to British GP pole position

Lewis Hamilton will start the 2015 British Grand Prix from pole position, putting him third in the all-time pole sitters list with 46, with just Aytron Senna (65) and Michael Schumacher (68) ahead. The Briton had stiff competition from team-mate Nico Rosberg, but with neither bettering their opening laps of Q3, it was Hamilton's quicker banker lap which secured him pole. Rosberg starts in second ahead of the Williams pair which enjoyed one of their best qualifying sessions of the season, beating both Ferraris to second best.
