Fernando Alonso opens museum in Asturias

McLaren's Fernando Alonso has opened a museum, dedicated to his racing career, in his hometown of Oviedo. Opening on Friday the 26th June, the museum gathers together all of Fernando Alonso's racing cars since he began karting at the age of 3. Consisting of over 270 unique pieces, helmets, gloves, racing suits, cars and memorabilia are all on display to commemorate Alonso's career so far. Surrounded by friends, family & fans at the opening of the facility ‘Museo Y Circuito Fernando Alonso', a beaming Alonso posed for pictures.
