Ricciardo confused by lack of race pace
Daniel Ricciardo says he is 'confused' with his lack of race pace during the Canadian Grand Prix, after finishing the race in 13th place. One year on from his maiden Formula 1 victory at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, the Australian driver started ninth but struggled to defend on the straights. He lacked speed compared to his Red Bull team-mate Daniil Kvyat and failed to score points for the first time in 2015. 'It’s been a strange weekend for me and I am a little confused about today’s race,' he said afterwards. 'I was lacking pace and we are not sure why.
