Verstappen takes 15-place grid penalty hit

Max Verstappen will take a further 10-place grid penalty at the Canadian Grand Prix, after Toro Rosso elected to change his engine overnight. The Dutchman, who was already braced for a five-place drop as the result of his collision in Monaco with Romain Grosjean, will now fall a total of 15 places down the order. Following deliberation among Toro Rosso engineers last night about what to do, and in light of it appearing to be a difficult race for the team, it was decided that a tactical change for a fifth engine would be best timed for here.
