Perez targets recovery from 'poorest' race

Sahara Force India Sergio Perez is confident that Force India can mount a fightback after the outfit's 'poorest' race at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Neither Perez nor team-mate Nico Hulkenberg challenged the top 10 positions across the race weekend as the characteristics of the circuit - allied to harder tyres - exacerbated the inherent weaknesses in Force India's VJM08. The Mexican is nonetheless optimistic that Monaco can provide an opportunity for Force India to return to the points and close the gap in the championship to its traditional midfield rivals.
