Mixed feelings for Manor drivers after Spanish qualifying
The Manor F1 Team drivers had mixed emotions following qualifying for the Spanish Grand Prix at the Circuit de Catalunya on Sunday. Will Stevens was the happier of the two drivers, having out-qualified team-mate Roberto Merhi by more than eight-tenths of a second. “I’m reasonably pleased with my qualifying today,” insisted Stevens. “I was able to improve on my first run despite making a small mistake, but the car is performing well and I’m looking forward to the race.” Merhi was less pleased with his session, having found his session compromised by a visit to the weighbridge and a false alarm with the ERS system that saw him only manage to get one run in. “A disappointing...
