Hamilton beats Rosberg for ‘pole’ in Shanghai

April 11, 2015 (GPracingplus).- Mercedes domination continues with no much questioning as the difference with the rest of the pack was too big, even with third qualified, Sebastian Vettel. Lewis Hamilton held off Nico Rosberg with a time of 1:35.782, barely enough to beat the German by .042s. At times it seemed as if Rosberg did not have the necessary speed over a lap to threaten his teammate as the times were constantly in the 2-3 tenths slower, but in the last possible lap, the German put his best effort to at least let Hamilton know of his presence.
