Van der Garde, Sauber legal dispute continues

+ Giedo van der Garde’s dispute with Sauber is set to continue throughout Friday ahead of the Australian Grand Prix. Van der Garde took the Swiss team to court this week to fight for his right to race at the 2015 season opener in Melbourne. The Dutchman won his case against Sauber, but has been unable to renew his superlicence in time to race at this weekend’s grand prix, owing to complications with the Contract Recognition Board, which needs to validate his contract. The case is set to resume at the Supreme Court of Victoria at 15.15 local time in Australia. Judge Croft, who is presiding over the case, will decide whether Sauber is to be held in contempt of court for not taking the...
