Alonso speaks, says he is 'completely fine'

Fernando Alonso has made his first comments since his accident in pre-season testing, appearing in a video to confirm he is 'completely fine'. The Spaniard was airlifted to hospital after crashing on the final day of the first F1 test at the Circuit de Catalunya, staying in hospital for three nights before he was discharged on Wednesday. Though speculation has been rife about his condition and the causes of the crash, particularly given his relatively lengthy stay in hospital, Alonso has appeared in a YouTube video to explain he wants to return to testing, but has accepted doctors' recommendations to rest.
