Massa fastest as final pre-season test begins

– Williams driver Felipe Massa topped the timesheets as the third and final pre-season test got underway on Thursday, clocking the best time seen at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya so far this winter.After intermittent midday showers, Massa worked his way down to a 1:23.500 during a three-lap run on the Soft compound tyre.That put him more than half a second up on Romain Grosjean's pace-setting effort from last week, posted with the Super Soft rubber.Marcus Ericsson spent the majority of his day focusing on race preparation, but made a late switch to Super Softs to go second – albeit eight tenths slower than Massa.Such was the extent of Ericsson's long running, the Swede ended...
