McLaren duo remain confident for race

McLaren drivers Jenson Button and Sergio Pérez remain hopeful of adding significant points to their respective tallies during the Canadian Grand Prix, despite being unable to make it through the second phase of qualifying in Montreal on Saturday afternoon. With Felipe Massa causing a red flag just two minutes before the end of Q2, drivers were left with a scramble for track position at the restart. For Button, the session was over when he misjudged his run to the line and failed to complete a final timed lap.
