A case for twelve angry men

It is an uncomfortable wait for most Formula One teams at the moment as the FIA deliberates on whether Mercedes contravened any regulations as a result of their test with Pirelli at Barcelona in the wake of the Spanish Grand Prix. It would greatly surprise me if Ross Brawn had not taken due dilligence before the test and at best it seems that a lack of communication has been the only crime committed. If that’s the case and if what Pirelli says is true – in that all teams were invited to test but failed to auscultate – then the whole incident could just be be a storm in a tea-cup. But if Mercedes does have a case to answer for, then the FIA may refer the matter to the International...
