Long Beach talks a warning to New Jersey organisers

1 May, 2013 In October 2011 New Jersey Governor Chris Christie helda a press conference to announce New Jersey GP A well respected Formula 1 correspondent has played down reports that Long Beach is a candidate to host a grand prix again. Following reports Bernie Ecclestone has confirmed talks with the iconic street race's owners, Brazilian journalist Livio Oricchio admitted he suspects it is just one of the Formula 1 chief executive's classic negotiating ploys. 'It will be surprising if these preliminary negotiations develop,' said O Estado de S.Paulo's Livio Oricchio.
