Whitmarsh confident of improvement

Martin Whitmarsh believes McLaren will be more competitive in China after identifying some solutions to their MP4-28's issues. McLaren began this season woefully off the pace in Australia where Jenson Button netted two points. And although the team appeared to have made minor gains in Malaysia, it was again just a two-pointer, this time for Sergio Perez. After the back-to-back races, McLaren returned to Woking where Whitmarsh believes they have found a better understanding of their car which he hopes will yield massive gains this weekend in China.
