F1 EXPLAINED: How long is each circuit's contract?
While several tracks find themselves in a fight to secure their spot on the F1 schedule, there are circuits that have managed to secure their long-time future on the Formula One calendar. F1Technical's senior writer Balazs Szabo reveals each track's contractual situation. Although the 2026 season is still underway with ten more races left to complete, Formula 1 and the FIA have already announced the calendar for the 2026 F1 season, will see the introduction of a new venue, new teams and new regulations for the next generation of F1 cars that will run on 100% advanced sustainable fuels.
