Hülkenberg surprised by 'fast, focused and impressive' Bortoleto

08/08/2025 at 16:5108/08/2025 at 14:52 Nico Hülkenberg has opened up about his growing admiration for rookie teammate Gabriel Bortoleto, admitting that the 20-year-old Brazilian has "surprised" him with his pace and professionalism during their debut season together at Sauber. Despite entering Formula 1 as the reigning Formula 2 champion, Bortoleto arrived on the grid with relatively little fanfare. Low expectations were largely tied to Sauber’s underwhelming form in previous seasons. But midway through the 2025 campaign, the Brazilian has impressed pundits in the paddock – and earned the respect of his vastly more experienced teammate....
