Russell skips post-race presser for 'medical reasons'

© XPB  James Fiorucci 05/05/2025 at 00:2705/05/2025 at 01:05 After securing third place in Sunday's Miami Grand Prix, George Russell was absent from the post-race press conference due to a medical concern, Mercedes confirmed.  The British driver had participated in post-race interviews trackside and celebrated on the podium, spraying champagne alongside race winner Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris. However, when the press conference began at Hard Rock Stadium, only the McLaren duo of Piastri and Norris faced the media, with Mercedes later citing “medical reasons” for Russell’s absence.
