In Memoriam - Formula 1 driver Roland Ratzenberger
The story of Ayrton Senna's fatal crash at Imola on 1 May 1994 is well known, but the Brazilian was not the only driver to lose their life on that dark weekend. Roland Ratzenberger tragically passed away after an accident during qualifying for the San Marino Grand Prix, 31 years ago today.
