Liberty Media set for $4 billion acquisition of MotoGP

The acquisition, which has been mooted since last year, would unite under one roof the pinnacle of four-wheeled racing with the premier motorcycle racing championship. According to Sky News, Liberty Media CEO Greg Maffei could reportedly confirm the deal as early as Monday during a visit to Madrid, Spain, where Dorna Sports – parent company of MotoGP – is headquartered.
