Carlos Sainz speaks out after Max Verstappen poaching

Carlos Sainz has taken to social media to thank his personal trainer, who has left him following an eight-year working relationship. The Ferrari driver received support from Rupert Manwaring from when the Spaniard entered the Formula 1 paddock in 2015, as a Toro Rosso – now known as AlphaTauri – driver. Manwaring remained with Sainz when he switched to Renault, McLaren and most recently to Ferrari, although it's now the personal trainer who is on the move. For the 2024 season, Manwaring will be working with three-time World Champion Max Verstappen, after the Red Bull driver parted ways with Bradley Scanes at the end of 2023. Want to work in Formula 1?
