Megacrash, eliminated Frijns and winning Evans | ePrix of Rome

Formula E driver Mitch Evans has won the sun-drenched Rome ePrix. Saturday's race was mainly marked by the huge temperatures in the Italian capital and a mega-crash that took place at the hands of Sam Bird. Jake Dennis lost his first place in the championship to Nick Cassidy. Article continues under ad Evans managed to win for the fourth time in his career in the Italian capital. It was only his ninth win in his Formula E career. Dennis was still in first place a few laps before the end of the race, but the Briton eventually finished fourth in the final results.
